My name is Marc, and I am your President and CEO. I have been on a Jimmy John’s payroll most of my life, starting at 16 years old as an in shopper. I worked at Jimmy John’s on and off through high school and college.

During my college years I was a PIC who filled as many hours as I could when I was home. After college I was given my first store and became a General Manager. Shortly following that I became an Area Manager of three stores in Decatur, IL.

After a few life changes and working my way back up I became the Area Manager of our original five stores in Bloomington-Normal in 2010, which led me to a minority ownership opportunity in 2017.

Then owner, Mary Strack, made the decision to retire in 2018 and I purchased the business and started growing. In 2019 we opened a store in Pontiac, Illinois and followed that with a five store acquisition in Central Texas in February of 2020. Even after the pandemic had begun we were in growth mode and we added two stores in Orland Park and New Lenox Illinois in November 2020.

In 2021 we were seeing great sales and further growth opportunity and we added the Dayton Ohio market with seven more stores. By year end we acquired four more stores in Illinois around the Kanankee area.

2022 has started off with a bang as we just expanded again by adding ten stores located in the great city of Milwaukee Wisconsin. We look forward to continuing our growth for the coming years and always focusing on the root of our business which is the people. Without great people we cannot continue to grow!
